Valentina Hotel Malta

Hi everyone! I hope you all are having a great week so far 🙂

Today I wanted to tell you about a very special trip that I recently went on.

As many of you may already know from my Instagram pictures, I visited Malta last week. It was my very first time in this small (but absolutely AMAZING!) country. To be honest, Malta wasn´t on my ¨top destinations¨ list. Not sure why, probably because is one of those places that is so close and you know you can always go for a weekend break. And this is exactly what happened. My friend Emma (@emma_cgi) was going to be there all week on business. I was in London and we though it would be a great idea for me to go for the weekend and have some ¨girly¨ time 😉

So we managed it all for me to get there Thursday night  and stay for the weekend. My friend Alisa ( @_glumzy_ ) decided to come on the last minute – literally she booked her flight on Wednesday evening!-. It was certainly looking like we had a very exciting weekend ahead!

On my research for a hotel, I knew it had to be located in St. Julian´s, which is a charming and buzzy area in the heart of Malta, where you can find loads of restaurants, coffee shops and night bars ( and also do some shopping!) while being surrounded by historical, beautiful buildings. And of course, right next to the magical coast line where you can dip into crystal clear blue water.

That´s how I came across the Valentina Hotel. It had it all: location, services, that glamorous hint and an absolutely amazing roof top swimming pool. We decided to stay with them 🙂

We got there on Thursday night. As soon as I walked into the Valentina lobby I loved the place. High ceilings, huge pendant modern-looking lamps, glass walls with access to an outside area and a cocktail bar. We checked in and went into our room, where a chilled welcome champagne bottle was waiting for us 😉

The room was modern, large and really cozy, and I just LOVE the way they take care of the smallest detail. They even have one of my favourites skin care and beauty London brands for the bathroom toiletries ( The White Company).

In the morning, after a nice long sleep, we had breakfast at the first floor restaurant. The staff welcomed us and we enjoyed a nice diversity of pastries, fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt and coffee and juices. Then, the staff at reception helped us to plan our stay and visit the main attractions at the island as we only had two days. That day, we walked around St. Julian´s and had lunch and a few drinks at the marina. We walked everywhere, there is no need to get a taxi or public transport to move around the area.

At night, we went for dinner to The Avenue restaurant, located just 50m away from the Valentina. It belongs to the hotel, so we decided to give it a go and see if it was as good as what we have seen so far. And there was no disappointment. In a casual and easy going atmosphere, the menu offers a mouth-watering selection of international and Mediterranean specialities. A large selection of local and foreign wines is also available. And if you are staying at the hotel you also get 10% discount of the entire bill 😉

We weren´t too sure about where to go on Saturday, so we asked for advice at reception and they recommended going to Valletta, which is the tiny capital of Malta. We absolutely loved it! ( there will be a post up soon about what to visit in Malta). We were really lucky because that day they celebrate ¨La Notte Bianca¨ ( the White Night). This takes place once a year and I absolutely recommend visiting at the time. There is plenty of live music stages, art exhibitions on the streets and all historical buildings are open until midnight. Stay tuned for the post!

We spent our last day together at the stunning ancient Medina and enjoyed amazing views while having cake and tea at Fontanella Tea Garden. After the girls left early on Monday, I relaxed all day sun bedding at the roof top swimming pool before flying back to London in the evening – I much needed this after a busy weekend!

Overall, my stay at the Valentina Hotel was outstanding, If you are planning travelling to Malta, I definitely recommend it. It is one of the most stylist, comfortable boutique hotels I have ever been to. I have to mention that not only they do have the best cappuccino in Malta, but also they make amazing cocktails at the lobby bar 🙂

Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword….wait there’s even more Now what if i told you there was a simple WordPress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you? That’s right AUTOMATICALLY, just watch this 4minute video for more information at. Seo Plugin
